We’re excited to invite applications for Principal House Officers (PHO)/Registrars to join our dynamic team in 2025 under the supervision of our experienced GP/Rural Generalist Senior Medical Officers. You'll have the chance to deliver care across a variety of services, including our rural facilities, Prison Health Services, and the Ripley Satellite Hospital Minor Injury & Illness Clinic.

• Temporary Full-time and Part-Time opportunities from February 2025.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Passion for providing excellent clinical care to your community as a Principal House Officer.
  • Interest in delivering quality care in a primary care environment, inpatient and outpatient setting, and emergency departments across a variety of acuity and care needs.
  • Knowledge and practical application of the National Quality & Safety Standards through the delivery of safe and quality focussed patient centred care.
  • Excellent communication and team work skills across a variety of settings including in an emergency.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
  • Possession of a medical degree registered or eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
