Esk is a quaint country town, nestled under the magnificent Glenn Rock. Gatton is the bustling heart of the Lockyer Valley, located just an hour from Brisbane and 40 minutes from Toowoomba.  It boasts a breathtaking backdrop of rolling hills and the Great Dividing Range.   Explore its Gatton's array of cafes, restaurants, and hotels, all serving up delectable meals and unbeatable coffee that'll leave your taste buds singing.

Laidley is located just an hour's drive from Brisbane.  Laidley extends a warm welcome, enveloping you in its old-fashioned charm set against the backdrop of lush farmlands and awe-inspiring landscapes. Laidley is the second-largest town in the Lockyer Valley with a treasure trove of experiences to explore.

Boonah is located just one hour west of Brisbane, in the heart of the Scenic Rim.  Boonah is a classic country town and the perfect base for exploring the region. Boasting superb surrounding scenery of rugged mountains and peaceful lakes allowing for great scenic drives, bushwalking, mountaineering, sky diving, gliding and water sports.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality and privacy to be observed at all times.
• Ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Good communication skills in relation to other staff, clients and visitors.
• Ability to work in porterage, cleaning, waste and laundry services.
• Ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, food safety standards, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour as applied in the working environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
