About the role
This role is to proactively engage with stakeholders to monitor data quality, provide advice and implement solutions to continuously improve the accuracy, timeliness, validity, relevance, reliability, and completeness of patient level data in clinical information systems.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of data quality and how it relates to patient care, health service funding and compliance with business rules, standards and guidelines.
- Understanding of relevant software applications including but not limited to ieMR (PowerChart), HBCIS, FirstNet and Enterprise Systems Management (ESM).
- Ability to review, analyse, and trend data to report on key areas of concern and take action to improve data quality.
- High level experience in the use of technology to facilitate monitoring, reporting, analysis and improvement of data quality.
- Well-developed interpersonal, education and communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to negotiate and effectively influence.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a successful team to meet deadlines and provide an efficient and effective customer focused service.
