The purpose of this role is to lead, coordinate, and facilitate the delivery of Mental Health Specialised Services (MHSS) clinical informatics to support digital enablement of new capabilities for MHSS. The role will work collaboratively with clinicians and leadership to oversee the clinical informatics function to support the program vision and ultimately, delivery against an agreed MHSS Digital Strategy.

About the role

  • Lead the implementation of the MHSS Digital Transformation Strategy and associated programs responsible for achieving digital transformation objectives.
  • Lead and manage prioritisation of operational, enhancement, and clinical demand for digital healthcare change, including workload allocation and organisational queue management activities.
  • Provide advanced mental health, alcohol & other drugs clinical informatics guidance in relation to the design / enhancement / innovation of digital healthcare solutions, with comprehensive information transfer relating to design capabilities and system functionality.
