About the role

The role of the Food Services Supervisor is responsible for supporting and coordinating food distribution and production services to meet organisational goals in the main kitchen and the retail outlet.  This position supports the Food Service Manager and liaises with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a timely and responsive Food Service to consumers, staff and visitors of The Park.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively by providing clear direction, support and respecting diversity, considering the impacts of actions and motivating the achievement of positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply contemporary leadership principles to develop and maintain an effective and motivated team.  
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express ideas in individual and group situations and highly developed negotiating skills including the ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues using an innovative approach.  Well-developed initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve problems.
