Paediatric Clinical Nurse

Ipswich

Ipswich Hospital Emergency Department is one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Queensland, seeing over 49, 000 presentations each year. 30% of these presentations are paediatric presentations. Our paediatric presentations vary greatly with many children presenting with viral illnesses and common childhood injuries; however, we are continuing to see an increase in the acuity of our paediatric presentations.

Due to the increasing complexity and acuity of our paediatric patients and the increasing number of presentations, the Ipswich Emergency Department are searching for experienced paediatric emergency nurses who are experienced in paediatric triage and resuscitation to come onboard in the role of a Clinical Nurse. We are offering temporary contracts of three to six months or permanent positions.
