This is an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Support Officer to join our new facility at Ripley.

In this permanent full-time role you will provide a high level of administration and organisational support to the Nurse Unit Managers within the Division of Clinical Performance and Patient Flow.

About the role

The Nurse Unit Manager Support Officer (NSO) operates with a high degree of independence and provides comprehensive administrative support for Nurse Unit Managers within the Division of Clinical Performance & Patient Flow. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Competent in the use of contemporary word processing, spread sheeting, database and other information systems ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed problem solving, consultation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to establish work priorities to meet deadlines without the need for direct supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the possession of tact, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with staff and the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team and adapt to a changing work environment.
