About the role

This role provides high quality clinical care to patients requiring Obstetrics and

Gynaecology (O&G) services within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service and clinically manages the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and equitable service to ensure appropriate patient care.  This includes outpatients (including outreach clinics (Ripley)), inpatients, elective and emergency Obstetric and Gynaecology treatment and surgery. In addition, providing professional leadership within the specialty area while also providing training, education and supervision to junior medical staff and other health care members. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven skills in the management of patients in elective and emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
  • Time Management Skills
  • Clinical skills (History taking and Physical examination skills)
  • Demonstrates sound time management and stress management skills.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team by respecting team members, communicating openly and taking an interest in helping team members.
