About the Role
Due to internal movements, West Moreton Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor.

In this specialist role, you'll provide high-level advisory and consultancy services across our health service, partnering closely with Human Resource Business Partners and senior leaders to manage complex workplace relations matters. Your expertise will be critical in advising on and resolving issues including:

  • Disciplinary processes and investigations
  • Complex grievances, appeals, and public interest disclosures
  • Performance management and allegations of misconduct
  • Advocacy before the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and other tribunals
  • Employment-related litigation and regulatory compliance

You will also contribute to the preparation of high-quality correspondence and briefing materials for decision-makers, while helping to shape and improve systems, policies, and procedures related to workplace relations.

Working within a small, multidisciplinary, and agile team in a forward-thinking environment, you will gain broad exposure to diverse and challenging issues—accelerating your development and expertise in workplace relations.

About You
We're looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in workplace relations, industrial relations, HR, and/or employment law
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and awards
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate, strategic, and practical advice across a broad spectrum of workplace matters
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
  • Experience managing highly sensitive and complex workplace issues with professionalism and sound judgement
  • High-level written communication skills suited to executive audiences
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities under pressure
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for continuous learning and improvement
