Our Health Service is expanding and so is our Preventative Integrated Care Service Team!

• The Preventative Integrated Care Service (PICS) will provide a rapid response (review within 24-48 hours) for intensive sub-acute medical management, delivered by a specialised medical, nurse practitioner and allied health team with a disease specific focus through flexible and varied modalities.

• Temporary Part-time opportunity for 3 weeks in August 2025

About the role

The purpose of this role is to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic clinical services and leadership to consumers of the Preventative Integrated Care Service (PICS), West Moreton Health Services (WMH). Duties are of a complex and varied nature and the majority are performed with a high level of independence.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • High level of knowledge, expertise and skills in one or two areas of clinical practice
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams including internal and external and stakeholders regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to provide novel solutions to complex clinical problems through the adaptation or modification of established procedures
  • Ability to initiate, plan and evaluate quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to provide nutrition and dietetic education, clinical leadership and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Dietitians and dietetic students.
