About the role

The purpose of this role is to coordinate and deliver high quality focussed recruitment and selection services for Medical Officers. Ensure that processes dealing with staff resourcing such as appointments of Senior Medical Officers (SMO) are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge (or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge) of legislation, procedures, policies and regulations pertaining to the recruitment of resident medical officers, including medical registration and immigration.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set priorities and achieve results in an environment of high volumes and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, prepare complex written material, negotiate, consult and utilise interpersonal management skills.
  • Ability to use advanced computer skills including the ability to access data from information technology software systems, interpret and advise.
  • Ability to solve problems and an ability to liaise and effectively consult with senior management on issues.
