About the role

The role of Digital Health Clinical Support will support and manage the Medications Management and related Solutions within the Digital Health team with the planning, development, implementation, expansion and improvement of the integrated eHealth platform throughout West Moreton Health. This role will provide input into the strategic direction for the platform and service, and the development and implementation of tactical solutions to complex and multi-party problems and issues.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated well-developed knowledge, expertise and skill of pharmaceutical practices within a large complex healthcare service.
  • Provide clinical advice and direction to the Digital Hospital Program on the development and implementation of the Medications Management module within a large complex healthcare service.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership on clinical pharmaceutical practices across one or more complex large scale health services.
  • Demonstrated history of efficient delivering of innovative and quality patient care outcomes through the Medications Management and related Solutions.
  • Provide effective leadership and management of team members, focussed on patient safety and quality results.
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
  • Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
