About the role
To provide oversight and service direction in the management of asset condition assessment activities and programs within West Moreton Health (WMH) and provide a service that ensures WMH complies with relevant Acts, Regulations, By-laws, Australian Standards and Queensland Health asset management policies.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- A commitment to continuous quality, safety, risk management and criticality-based decisions, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, shows flexibility and a willingness to make decisions.
- Well-developed initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and to resolve problems and issues, using an innovative approach where appropriate. Demonstrated high-level ability to proactively research, analyse, report and present information leading to service delivery improvement.
- Ability to understand and react responsively to stakeholder expectations, and forge strong networks and partnerships across a range of complex stakeholders to drive quality and safety outcomes and performance.
- Proven success in delivering high performing condition assessment, equipment compliance to obligations and safety in operation in the context of asset management in a large, diverse and complex organisation.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects using project management methodology.
- Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to manage effective relationships and partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including influencing and negotiating desired outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
