About the role
This position is accountable and responsible for supporting planning, coordination, evaluation and management of Operational Services at Ipswich Hospital. This position supports the Operational Services Coordinator by coordinating rostering, payroll issues, recruitment, Workcover/QSuper, leave management and staffing concerns. This position may also be required to support other functions within the Operational Services Department as required.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level knowledge and experience working in Operational Services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to assist lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively negotiate, consult and build rapport with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage departmental changes
- Strong wrtitten and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across a range of electronic mediums.
- Experience in roster management ensuring compliance with industrial instruments and organisational goals.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
