About the role

Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.

The ward will be operational 24 hrs day 7 days a week and staffed by a multidisciplinary team. The facility is equipped with internal and outdoor therapy areas with an on demand food service model to compliment therapy programs.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:  

  • Vision – Commitment to the principles of quality in health care including leading initiatives relating to quality improvement, research, risk management, service evaluation and strategic service delivery planning.
  • ​​Results – Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Medical disciplines, with an ability to deliver quality speciality care to patients in a clinical setting including directing the process of assessment, admission, ongoing care, transfer and discharge of patients.
  • Accountability – Applied sound business management skills to plan the financial function of the service.
  • Work Values – Demonstrated honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.
