About the role
The Plumber is responsible for efficient and cost effective plumbing installations, maintenance and minor / new works for the West Moreton Health District.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience and knowledge relating to installation and maintenance management of plumbing and drainage in single and multi-storey buildings similar to large, major health care facilities.
- Ability to prioritise works, projects, timeframes and manage costs, make responsible and accurate recommendations and produce an effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity without supervision.
- Ability to manage and coordinate major equipment installation and/or refurbishment projects.
- Ability to work effectively and safely as a member of a team or individually, and experience managing service contractors and/or interacting, communicating and negotiating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to effectively investigate problems, provide options and implement suitable solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
