About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to support and undertake research led by the Mental Health Evaluation Stream at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research. The role will involve producing deliverables for a range of domestic and international mental health research projects. The role also provides the opportunity for specialist training and professional development in line with the Stream's objectives and timelines.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Thorough understanding of mixed methods research.
  • Biostatistics data analysis and report-writing skills.
  • High-level interpersonal and negotiation skills. Knowledge of serious mental illness: etiology, current approaches to treatment, and current relevant research issues is an advantage
