About the role
The purpose of this role is to order, receive, receipt, store and manage food supplies within the Food Service Department at Ipswich Hospital. This role must adhere to Food Safety requirements and regulations to ensure that patient, staff and other customers are served appropriate meals.

- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates accuracy, precision and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Food Safety.
- The ability to set up and interpret a food safety program.
- Ability to understand ordering policy and procedures as required by Queensland Health
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
