The remit of the Infrastructure Asset Services & Major Capital Works Command is to collaboratively and strategically plan and deliver services across security and safety systems, lifecycle and asset management, property services, fleet services and major infrastructure development.
Specifically, the Secure Facilities and Assets Workgroup advise on strategic asset planning, manage and oversee the maintenance and repair of all QCS secure facilities (emergency and reactive). They also establish and manage the annual preventative maintenance plan, work programs, prioritise budget expenditure, manage property and facility leases, fleet management and asset services. Collaborating closely with the Secure Infrastructure Workgroup ensures synergies and efficiencies in maintenance and development planning, and the achievement of economics of scale and value.
