At Oxley State School, our mission is to provide an education program that ensures every child is improving every day. This mission is based on our unwavering belief that every one of our students has the ability to learn, given the right teaching at the right time.
The Inclusion teacher will be working with Years 3 and 4 multi-age classes. They are an extension onto the teaching team and as such will undertake co-teaching with the classroom teachers.
An understanding and experience with ASD and SWD (physical impairment) is an advantage. The Inclusion teacher will assist the classroom teacher to note down PLP's as well as designing adjustments for learning and assessment and reporting.
Staff meetings are Tuesday afternoons-mandatory meeting
Inclusion Meetings- Case Management - Thursday mornings before school.
Availability to these is critical.
Your Role
As the Teacher you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
- Contribute to and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial, information and technology, assets and facilities resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
- Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department
