QEII Hospital are seeking expressions of interest from Radiographers for future permanent full time and part time opportunities over the next 12 months. You will be responsible for performing regular high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics and the providing of support, advice and care to the eligible women of the BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Southside Service.

About the Role

The position is responsible for performing regular high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics and the providing of support, advice and care to the eligible women of the BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Southside Service.

• Deliver a competent level of mammography clinical services including assessment work-up examinations within a multidisciplinary team to eligible asymptomatic women at risk of developing breast cancer within the catchment area of the Brisbane Southside Service, in accordance with the BreastScreen Australia National Accreditation Standards and BreastScreen Queensland Quality Standards, Protocols and Procedures.
• Participate daily within a multidisciplinary team providing routine mammography advice to both team members and clients throughout the BreastScreen Queensland screening and assessment pathway.

The Process

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual and temporary employment opportunities. Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.
