An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist – Senior (Clinical Education Support Officer) to join the Occupational Therapy Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland.

Your opportunity:

The Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator Support Officer (CESO) provides leadership and support for Clinical Educators, pre-entry students and new graduates across the clinical services of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) in order to:

  • Ensure the local service has capacity to undertake graduate and pre-entry clinical education.
  • Build confidence, skills and knowledge in staff in clinical education practices.
  • Facilitate the development of pre-entry students and new graduates to enhance provision of high-quality occupational therapy services to the patients of WBHHS
  • Actively work within the state-wide program to drive innovation in Occupational Therapy clinical education, raising professional standards and reducing duplication state-wide.
  • Support local services with maintaining staff supervision structures.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $76,387 p.a., comprising salary between $62.76 - $67.53 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.)
