About Us:
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.

The Cabinet Office, of which Law and Justice Policy is a part, leads the policy development process across government, providing strategic analysis, insights and options on key policy initiatives to deliver on the government's priorities.

Your opportunity:
The Senior Administration Officer reports to the Executive Director, Law and Justice Policy, providing high level professional and confidential support to the Law and Justice Policy team, while also supporting the operation of the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council.

About you:
The successful person will be able to demonstrate experience in managing and prioritising the commitments and activities of senior staff and a team, including the ability to initiate, determine and follow-up work priorities within mandated and tight deadlines.

You will have a demonstrated high level of interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the organisation and with other government and non-government agencies, community organisations and members of the public with discretion and tact.
