Queensland Museum Kurilpa is seeking a permanent full-time Senior Manager, Engagement (AO7) who is passionate about engaging existing and new audiences through high-quality and innovative events, programs and experiences that advance STEAM knowledge and literacy, embed voices of diverse people within our programming, with particular emphasis on First Nations peoples, and prioritises initiatives focused on access and inclusion, self-guided and guided experiences.

The Senior Manager, Engagement (AO7) plays a pivotal role in attracting and engaging diverse audiences through the co-creation and co-implementation of new models of participation and programming at Queensland Museum Kurilpa.

Leading a high-performing team across three functional areas; Events, Engagement and QM Loans, the ideal candidate will be committed to delivering Transformational Engagement; captivating diverse audiences with participatory experiences that foster understanding, learning and social connection.

You will have demonstrated experience in developing audience focused programs and event development, alongside an understanding of best practice in audience engagement, formal and informal learning.

  • Salary, plus leave loading and employer superannuation contributions of up to 12.75%
