This permanent opportunity is based at the Nerang office and is predominately office-based focusing on managing and auditing surveying contractor services meet all objectives through the phases of engineering project cycles.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:
- Significant experience performing and auditing complex survey jobs
- Provide authoritative advice on engineering survey, photogrammetry and other geospatial information acquisition issues
- Experience preparing project specifications, plans and drawings and the management and preparation of open market bids and internal offers
- Contract management experience, including the ability to manage contractor work standards and practices ensuring contract performance
- Ability and willingness to independently perform a small amount of specialised survey field work, outside of normal business hours
- Proven experience successfully managing stakeholders and the management of expectations and issues of all parties.
Mandatory qualifications:
- A minimum of a three or four-year surveying degree based on the Australian.
Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 7 or higher
- Registration as a ‘Surveyor' with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or the ability to submit an application within 12 months of appointment
- Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence (manual preferred).
