Portfolio Management Support Assistant
Flexible Location
QRIDA is seeking to fill two positions of Portfolio Management Support Assistants, Small Business Loans Unit. One temporary full-time appointment until 11 December 2024 and one temporary full-time appointment until 30 June 2025. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to undertake administrative support functions for various financial assistance programs, including ability in determining support scheme eligibility and associated registration and verification functions. As the Portfolio Management Support Assistant, you will provide provision of quality administrative services to internal and external clients to ensure maximum efficiency in service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of written material as directed, utilising computer-based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database and desktop publishing software.
- Undertaking general office administration duties including task creation typing reports, memos, and letters, preparing documents and collating material.
- Working conscientiously as an individual and as a member of a team to achieve agreed portfolio outcomes.
- Contributing to a safe and healthy workplace by complying with Workplace Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice, standards and organisational policies and procedures and participate in risk management and corrective action programs.

As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for almost 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
