As the Portfolio Management Officer, South West Queensland, you will assist with the financial analysis and processing of applications for programs administered by QRIDA. The position is responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of concessional loan clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse and review the extraction of financial statements (e.g. balance sheets, profit & loss statements, livestock trading and cropping schedules and cashflow budgets) to assist in determining the eligibility of applicants for a variety of loan schemes administered by QRIDA.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of concessional loan clients, inclusive of annual reviews and facility change requests.
- Communicating effectively, both internally and externally, particularly as it relates to loan assessments, including the review and/or compilation of financial data.

To be eligible for permanent appointment to the Queensland Public Sector and at QRIDA, you must provide proof of Australian citizenship, permanent residency or permission under a Commonwealth law to work in Australia. To be eligible for fixed term temporary appointment or casual appointment, you must provide proof that you can legally work in Australia. Once employed, your rights to work in Australia will be monitored at regular intervals to ensure there has been no change to your migration status.

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
