What you will be doing
• Provide quality HR advice to ensure the consistent application and use of policies, procedures and relevant legislation which support the business area to achieve its outcomes, and encourages a supportive, flexible and collaborative approach to employee management across the business.
• Provide contemporary, best practice HR services by identifying areas of need and conducting appropriate coaching, training, professional development and other proactive services to enhance managers' ability to effectively manage.
• Supporting the design and delivery of strategic HR projects and programs.
• Facilitating the resolution of complex employee issues through the provision of effective support, case management and workplace interventions
• Proactively engaging with clients to understand their issues and developing innovative solutions.
• Promote best practice, educate, and influence the implementation of HR strategies and discuss initiatives or changes relating to HR directives, policies or procedures.
What we are looking for
• Well-developed knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR legislation, principles and practices and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to resolve complex human resource management issues.
• Proven experience in complex end to end case management which delivers on organisational priorities and values.
• Proven ability to meet timeframes and competing deadlines, solve a range of high-level and sensitive HR problems, be solutions-focussed, self-directed, and intrinsically motivated.
• High-level communication, consultation, influencing, and interpersonal skills including the ability to partner with a range of clients across multiple business areas.
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
