An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join the Integrated Care Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To provide efficient and effective routine Speech Pathology clinical services to adult populations in the Hervey Bay and Maryborough region as part of the Integrated Care Service.
- The position will function and participate in multidisciplinary and collaborative teams within the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) From date of appointment for three months with the possibility of extension and for other periods of leave relief as negotiated with the Line Manager until June 2025.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis

Our offer:
You will receive salary between $2,941.70 - $4,323.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for three months with the possibility of extension and for other periods of leave relief as negotiated with the Line Manager until June 2025) (Applications will remain current for the duratin of the vacancy).
