About the role

The Principal Business Partner – Workforce Planning role sits within our People and Culture (P&C) division. Our P&C portfolio is dedicated to delivering contemporary, innovative, and responsive people and culture solutions that support our organisational customer service outcomes and strategic objectives, especially in an era of major digital transformation and change.

As the Principal Business Partner – Workforce Planning, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and evaluating organisational-wide projects aimed at creating agile and well-supported work environments. You will demonstrate your high-level knowledge and experience in managing people-related initiatives within a P&C context, focusing on workload management and workforce planning to ensure alignment with contemporary public sector objectives. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of training programs for managers, building their capability and confidence in workload management and workforce planning.

This is a full-time temporary opportunity until 30 June 2025 based in Brisbane CBD. Please download the role description for more information.

  • Proficiency in interpreting and using data analytics and insights to make informed.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement training programs and workforce planning protocols.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain focus and optimism under pressure, ensuring steady performance.
  • Proven ability to develop of policies and procedures.
