Working in a multi-disciplinary team you will:
• Provide advice and support to the Manager, Communications, including contributing to the unit's operational planning.
• Provide strategic communication leadership and advice to agency clients and other senior officers within the branch.
• Establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships to develop and deliver creative, cost-effective and targeted communications and marketing solutions to support the delivery of the Department's strategic objectives.
• Lead, develop, deliver and evaluate high level marketing and communication strategies and services in a range of traditional and digital channels.
• Develop strategies for digital delivery, ensuring communication in the digital space is compliant with Queensland Government standards.
• Ensure all marketing and communication materials comply with Queensland Government branding and the Department's corporate identity guidelines.
• Provide whole-of-government liaison and reporting on Queensland Government administrative and policy requirements.
• Develop costed project submissions and business cases for Executive Director and Director-General approval.
• Manage project budgets, prepare briefing material, submissions, papers and reports and other duties as required.
