About Legal Aid Queensland
You will be responsible for issues management, media liaison, speech preparation and publication production. You will raise awareness about Legal Aid Queensland through promotional activities including events and the website.
This position is temporary full time to 25 April 2025 with the possibility of extension.
What you will do
- Develop, implement and evaluate creatively targeted communication and media strategies to promote LAQ
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal and external communications plans
- Help with crisis communication and issues management
- Research, write and edit speech notes
- Establish positive relationships with key stakeholders
About you: The successful candidate will have
- Experience in journalism, marketing, communication or public relations
- Ability to develop and implement communication plans and monitor task progress
- Experience in understanding the publication production process
- Experience in coordinating events, from concept planning through to delivery
