As a Principal Change Lead, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of best practices in change management, communications and learning across projects being delivered.
You will have a strong ability to strategically interpret project needs and impacts, providing guidance on implementation approach and deliverables. You will also be accountable for program change support, in particular program communications.

The Role
As a Principal Change Lead, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of best practices in change management, communications and learning across projects being delivered. You will have a strong ability to strategically interpret project needs and impacts, providing guidance on implementation approach and deliverables. You will also be accountable for program change support, in particular program communications.

Key Accountabilities
• Co-develop and maintain the program's Change Centre of Excellence by creating a program change strategy, developing change, communications and learning templates, and highlighting best practice standards and governances for change, communications and learning.
• Oversee change resources across projects being delivered under the program to ensure best practice quality controls are understood and implemented.
• Cross-reference change, communications and learning plans to identify opportunities for project synergies in delivery, collaborating with program leads to advise on strategy.
• Review change, communications & learning assessments/ plans, providing advice on best practice, strategic alignment, and feasibility.
• Prepare or contribute to the preparation of timely and well-researched presentations, communication materials, briefs and submissions on complex issues, including Cabinet submissions.
• Facilitate learning events and activities to provide product/ service knowledge and support internal synergies and upskilling.
• Substitute and support project resourcing as required to ensure the effective delivery of change, communications and learning analyses, planning, content and reports.

About You
• You will have 5+ years' experience delivering change projects, including communications and learning plans and material, is an essential requirement for the role.
• Your experience developing or working in a change centre of excellence or project management office will be highly regarded.
• Possession of qualifications in project management (e.g., Prince2), change management (e.g., PROSCI), communications and learning are desirable.
• Exposure in water-related projects or familiarity with water management principles is desirable but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools is required.
