About us:

The 30-bed interim care unit located at Bolton Clarke Sunset Ridge Residential Aged Care Facility is dedicated to care for suitably admitted maintenance patients, operating 24-hours per day. The unit is split into two wings Seahorse and Starfish. Seahorse is a secure area and Starfish is non secure. Interim Care is for people who no longer require care in an acute hospital setting, are unable to return to their own home and need support to progress to a Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or transition to the community with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports. 

About the role:

Clinical Facilitators are experienced clinicians who are employed across the CQHHS, to facilitate and support the learning experiences of post graduate nurses and midwives. The Clinical Facilitator actively engages in the development of a learning culture, through face to face interaction and teaching of nursing/midwifery students, whilst liaising with the clinical unit and respective teams. The Clinical Facilitator models' evidence-based practice at a proficient level relevant to the area of specialty.

About you:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstration in the provision of safe, evidence based, client focused care within the Sunset Ridge Interim Care setting.
• Ability to contribute towards the efficient functioning of Sunset Ridge Interim Care with a strong focus on effective teamwork within the multidisciplinary setting.
• Interpersonal and communication skills that support competent health care practice, delegation and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Student Nurses.

Total remuneration value of up to $53.801 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
