An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Permanent and Temporary Opportunities are currently available for experienced Theatre Nurses, Emergency Nurses and Special Care Nurses as a priority. All other candidates will be considered for the Nursing Resource Service that provides a central relief service to all other wards in the Hervey Bay Hospital.

Your opportunity:

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within a hospital environment, supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
  • Several Permanent Full Time and Part Time vacancies for Experienced Theatre Nurses available
  • Permanent Part Time (64 hours p.f.) vacancy for Experienced Special Care Nursey Nurses available
  • Several Temporary Full Time and Part Time vacancies for Experienced Emergency Nurses available
  • Several Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time vacancies for Experienced Nurses for the Nursing Resource Service
  • Registered Nurses within Nursing Resource Services are rostered and allocated to various roles within Bundaberg Hospital. Acute services within the hospital include: Medical, Surgical, Sub-Acute, Peri-operative, Emergency, Intensive Care, Paediatrics, Maternity, Transit Hub, Integrated Care, Outpatients, Renal, Specialist Outpatients, Cancer Care and the Permanent Pool.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $121,107 p.a., comprising salary between $82,753 - $106,144 p.a. (f/t) or $41.74 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t) or $51.33 - $65.85 p.h. (Casual), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Several Permanent Full Time and Part Time positions, hours negotiable, multiple Temporary Full Time and Part Time Contracts Available) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
