An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Registered Nurses to join the Fraser Coast Acute Mental Health Inpatient Team at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within the Mental Health Inpatient Unit, supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis
