An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services to join the Executive Services Team at the Bundaberg, Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • The Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services (EDNMS) is the single point of accountability for the professional leadership and direction of nursing and midwifery services within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, and the operational management of Nurse Education and Simulation teams.
  • The EDNMS reports to the Chief Executive.
  • The EDNMS is responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient centred nursing and midwifery care and services that meets professional practice standards.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $285,068 p.a., comprising salary of $249,849 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 13(2)) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
