Role details
The Pharmacy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Pharmacy Student to join their team on a casual basis.
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future opportunities.

Your opportunity
The Pharmacy student role performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.
Students are employed casually to accommodate the commitments required by their studies while gaining pre-registration exposure to the workplace. Students contribute to pharmacy service delivery model within the Mackay Base Hospital under the delegation and practice supervision of a pharmacist in the provision of effective patient care.
About the Team
Our Pharmacy Service is based at the Mackay Base Hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, seven days a week. Our pharmacy provides medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.
