Cleveland Education & Training Centre (CETC) is a Department of Education school operating within the Cleveland Youth Detention Centre at Townsville.  The catchment area for the Centre comprises the area graphically north from Rockhampton, west to the border and Island communities off the Queensland coastline. 

Our school offers a range of pathways and employment focussed VET courses to assist in closing individual skills gaps, develop language, positive behaviours and social skills which are a prerequisite for further study or a pathway to employment.  Older students engage with vocational programs which support either transition into education, employment or training.

• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
