About Legal Aid Queensland

As a business analyst, you will support the team in developing and maintaining business reporting systems to collect and report key information used to support planning and decision-making activities. You will assist in identifying business information needs and provide advice to senior management and key stakeholders, while also assisting in the preparation of data to meet the organisation's strategic and operational performance reporting requirements.

There are two permanent full time positions available. 

What you will do

  • Provide strategic and operational performance reporting and analysis
  • Liaise with staff to assist in the development of statistical reports
  • Contribute to financial and operational modelling for various business initiatives
  • Provide advice, guidance and reporting to managers and EMT

About you: The successful candidate will have

  • Experience in business analysis, including the ability to analyse and interpret data to prepare reports
  • Knowledge of financial and budget management issues in both cash and accrual accounting environments
  • Ability to work independently, plan ahead and monitor task progress
