An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Sub Acute Older Persons Mental Health Unit and Fraser Coast Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit, Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services Team at the Maryborough or Hervey Bay Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within Mental Health Inpatient Units situated on the Fraser Coast being the Subacute Older Persons Mental Health Unit or Fraser Coast Mental Health Unit (Adult Acute), supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
- We have vacancies within both the Fraser Coast Mental Health (Acute Adult) Inpatient Unit located at Hervey Bay and the Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit located at Maryborough.
Several Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $121,107 p.a., comprising salary between $82,753 - $106,144 p.a. (f/t) or salary between $41.74 - $53.53 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Several Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f. and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
