We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to provide high level support in the delivery of the Fire Management Uplift Program and Fire Services works program. The position provides leadership and quality control in the delivery of reporting, general program oversight, correspondence, governance groups administration, and procurement coordination, in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and departmental procedures.

As the Senior Project Officer, you will:
• Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement and continuously make business improvements for Fire Services.
• Provide advice to, and lead procurement activities, for Fire Services staff.
• Research and analyse information, and prepare correspondence, reports, briefings and submissions regarding the development, progress and delivery of key projects and issues relating to the Fire Management Uplift Program.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including QPWS&P regions, other divisions, state and local governments and provide advice as required.
• Participate as a proactive member of the working groups and Fire Services business area.
• Assist the Director, Fire Services to represent QPWS&P in industry forums, interdepartmental and other committees.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better
outcomes for First Nations people.
