The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Manage strategic procurement projects in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity and transparency requirements are addressed.
- Deliver high quality procurement advice and services covering procurement planning activities, sourcing documentation development, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management including sound Category Management functions and administration activities.
- Monitor and advise on financial, contract management and procurement systems compliance, in accordance with QPS policies and procedures and the State Procurement Policy.
- Administer contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers in accordance with the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
- Negotiate and consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding procurement and contract related issues to identify specific business needs and to facilitate compliance within the required timeframes.
Role Requirements:
Qualification
- Highly desirable Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
- Experience in SAP
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology.
