Your role will be to lead and manage a team within the Forensic Services Group Reception Centre, Police Headquarters and provide high level client service advice in response to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

You will oversee the exhibit and property management processes relating to forensic exhibits.

The occupant of this position will supervise a team of up to four (4) Administrative Officers and one (1) Property Officer.

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Manage the Forensic Reception Centre to ensure a high level of service and resolution of issues to customers in line with service level agreements and police business requirements.
  • Ensure exhibit and property management processes and procedures are compliant with QPS policy, forensic standards and legislative requirements.
  • Manage, coordinate and monitor team performance to ensure consistent service levels and standards are maintained and the delivery of appropriate services.
  • Supervise, guide, mentor and evaluate individual performance (DAP) and address staff training and development needs.
  • Provide advice to the Superintendent's Office, including the generation of audits and statistical reports.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to administrative procedures.
