The Pharmacy Department team are seeking a Pharmacist – Senior (Cancer Care) to join them. In this role you will be required to provide leadership and deliver high level client focussed pharmacy services to patients in the cancer care service of Cairns and affiliated Tele-Health sites.

About your role:
- Delivers high level clinical pharmacy services to the Cancer Care Ward and Day Unit including the provision of clinical pharmacy review, patient counselling, advice and consultancy services based on high level knowledge with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Demonstrate high level of computer literacy with multiple electronic medical records and prescribing software.
- Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers, as required to ensure continuum of care.
- Provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced pharmacists to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within clinical pharmacy services.
