The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is an independent statutory office established to protect the rights and interests of adults with impaired decision-making capacity, and children and young people in the child protection system and other visitable sites.

The role of the Principal Project Officer, Corporate Services is to manage projects and support the Manager, Corporate Services in the formulation, development and implementation of strategic initiatives relating to the delivery of business services across the Office of the Public Guardian.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, coordination and implementation of strategic projects in relation to business processes across OPG.
- Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project and/or program delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
- Provide contemporary subject matter expertise in the development of policies, procedures, learning programs and other materials relating to strategic projects.
- Prepare and present high level discussion papers, reports, briefs and other correspondence matters.
- Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and staff.
- Complete the annual reporting process for OPG including coordination of data and content, formulation of written material, liaison with stakeholders for feedback and input and delivery of final report.
Mandatory Qualifications
While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, demonstrated experience in project management will be favourably regarded.
