Planning Group is seeking experienced Administrative support champions with a passion for excellence to join our Continuous Applicant Pool (CAP) for future temporary and permanent opportunities over the next 12 months.

Our teams are based in regional offices across Queensland and in Brisbane, focusing on assisting local governments in implementing the State’s planning agenda through local planning instruments and implementing regional plans.

As the State Assessment Referral Agency (SARA), the teams play a vital role in assessing development applications on behalf of the State. The advertised position provides significant administrative support for this function.

As a Planning Support Officer, you will assist with the maintenance of information management systems and databases, including MyDAS2 and the department's record management system, while ensuring adherence to administrative and audit requirements.

You will also serve as the first point of contact for the public, providing helpful advice and efficiently referring inquiries to technical staff when needed. Your experience in administrative support will assist you in undertaking other duties including minute taking for a range of events, workshops and internal/external meetings.
