About the role

The Senior Pharmacist – Oncology will provide a high-level clinical pharmacy service to the West Moreton oncology service.  The position functions with a high degree of independence providing clinical advice and intervention, workflow organisation and service developments for the oncology service.  The role offers the successful applicant an opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic team delivering cancer care services to consumers of West Moreton Health.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge, expertise and skills in contemporary cancer care clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge of hospital pharmacy service delivery and medication management.
  • High level ability to participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and work practices.
  • High level ability to provide training, direction, and guidance to health clinicians.
  • Ability to proactively contribute to team objectives within the pharmacy as well as the broader multidisciplinary team.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
