In the role of Director (Commercial Partnerships), you will use your leadership and technical expertise to lead and manage multidisciplinary functional project and contract management services to ensure successful delivery and completion in accordance with required timeframes, cost, quality, safety, community and stakeholder, environmental and service standards.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide leadership and direction to the Commercial Partnerships team, establishing team and project plans, managing resources (people, financial and physical), and achieving established goals and objectives in relation to managing various work streams.
• Work with Translink passenger transport service providers and various stakeholders to manage passenger transport service contracts and service delivery successfully and effectively.
• Lead complex contract management, stakeholder management and negotiations, consulting and engaging with legal, financial, and other parties as required.
• Identify strategic risks and opportunities for improvement in the delivery of transport services across Queensland, contributing to the broader Commercial Partnerships team influencing legislation, policy frameworks, funding approaches and strategic sourcing strategies as required to shape change.
• Review and interpret legislative requirements to ensure procurement/contract management policies and practices comply with the intent of the legislation.
• Management functions including business planning, financial management, governance and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act 2022 to ensure delivery of a responsive, effective and efficient services to the community and the Government.
• Build a cohesive and high performing team characterised by teamwork, partnering, strong morale and a focus on achieving results. Contribute to a highly engaged and capable workforce and leadership team through positive workplace culture and values alignment.
• Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
