About your role:
- Provide appropriate clinical support within the multidisciplinary team environment to ensure best health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the outreach communities.
- Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to facilitate individual and group health education, prevention and promotion activities.
- Utilise highly developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to develop professional and multidisciplinary partnerships to achieve quality clinical service outcomes.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary teams across different services.
- Liaise with patients and their families, advocating for their rights and needs when required.
